Her talent is on the rise and is definitely undeniable. Clemons has
rapidly become famous for the eclectic and captivating characters that
she has brought to life on the screen.
Recently, it was announced that she would be starring in the upcoming Warner Bros film, The Flash. To promote the franchise, Clemons completed filming her cameo in Justice League. Moreover, she finished filming Amazons The Only Boy Living in New York. She has additionally played a role in Sonys sequel of the 1990 thriller Flatliners, which was released in September 2017. She is expected to star in the musical drama Hearts Beat Loud.
Clemons also costarred in Universal Pictures Neighbors 2: Sorority
Rising and in the Netflix original series Easy where she gave an honest
and impressive performance.
She is most popularly known for her breakout role on the big screen in Dope, which premiered to critical acclaim at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. The film won the African-American Film Critics Association Award for Best Screenplay. It was nominated at several festivals including Cannes and the Deauville American Film Festival.
Apart from her work in film, Clemons has made a commendable mark in
television. She had a recurring role in the Golden Globe and Emmy Award
winning Amazon series called Transparent. The show was Aldo nominated at
both the Peoples Choice Awards and SAG Awards for Favorite Streaming
Series and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series
respectively. Clemons other television credits include Steven
Spielbergs Extant and Foxs New Girl.
In addition to her acting prowess, Clemons is a talented musician. She
has collaborated with Grammy Award winning producer and artist, Pharrell
Williams on multiple tracks. She also lent her vocals to projects like
Dope and Transparent. In September 2015 she appeared in Lady Gagas
music video, Till It Happens to You, which won an Emmy Award. It was
exclusively written for a documentary about the college/campus rape
During her childhood, she engaged in creativity by taking vocal lessons,
modeling and participating in local theatre. Her first TV role was in
the hit Disney Channel original series, Shake It Up. She eventually
became a recurring character and starred in the Disney Channel Original
Movie, Cloud 9.
She has been named by Variety as one of 10 Actors to Watch for in 2017. She has broadened her boundaries as an actor and hopes to tap into much more. She has played on television, studio comedy and giant blockbusters.
Kiersey Clemons is an adorable star who has been acknowledged in interviews with popular magazines like InStyle and Vanity Fair. She is often described in the press as a feminist. She openly promotes equality and does not mind being referred to as a feminist.
